The yin to cousin Jason’s yang has fought hard for her success, making the most of her ability through discipline and determination. She says she had to “step up” to support Jason, and did just that, being awarded the Australian Female Sailor of the Year in 2015, before claiming an Olympic silver medal in Rio.

Destiny is a matter of choice, it’s not something to be waited for, it’s a thing to be achieved.

If I wasn't sailing

I would be working in marketing for a company like Red Bull.

I don't set an alarm and I take my time to do the simple things.

Never wear a regatta T-shirt during the event.

Advice to young sailors

Everything happens for reason. There is a lesson or meaning behind it, just keep focused on your goal, work hard and success will come.
