The Paris 2024 Olympics are one of the most anticipated Olympics of all time. Our Aussie sailors are primed and ready to continue the legacy of success at recent Games, with sailing set to return to the nation where the sport made its Olympic debut 124 years ago at Paris 1900. Sailing for this year's Games will take place at the Marseille Marina on the Mediterranean Sea.

WHEN

The Paris Olympics will commence with the opening ceremony on Friday 26 July and officialy end at the closing ceremony on Sunday 11 August. The sailing wil take place across twelve days from Sunday 28 July to Thursday 8 August.

WHERE

Sailing at the Paris Olympics will be held at the Marseille Marina, which is the prefecture of the French department of Bouches-du-Rhône and of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. Situated in the Provence region of southern France, it is located on the coast of the Gulf of Lion, part of the Mediterranean Sea, near the mouth of the Rhône river.
